GPOC Board Vacancies 2020-2021
In addition to position-specific duties, all board members contribute educational resources to GPOC newsletters and website. Board membership term is August 2020-July 2021.
- Vice President: The Vice President of the Great Plains Orff Chapter is in charge of communications about workshops and chapter events. They communicate with local leaders, university representatives, regional representatives and the membership regarding the details of the events. The Vice President is also on the Scholarship Committee, which decides the recipients of scholarships for the year and the Election Committee, which is in charge of ensuring fair elections to the Great Plains Orff Chapter Board. The final job of the Vice President is to assist the President in whatever he or she might need. The Vice President moves into the Presidential position after two years being the Vice President.
- Secretary: The secretary takes notes during meetings, reports notes out to all board members via google drive and organizes the notes throughout the year and past years. Finally, the secretary participates on the scholarship committee and executive board as needed.

Applicants must be a member of AOSA, have completed Level I Orff-Schulwerk training, submit materials for the GPOC website by due date, review and comply with job description as stated in chapter bylaws, attend all meetings and workshops barring emergencies.
